The Time to Make Up Your Mind About People is Never

I heard a quote about Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward and the success of their relationship. Paul Newman said he attributed their success to equal parts of desire and respect. I don't think that happens very often. His observation does compel me to sacrifice neither.
