There are things in my past I've yet to imagine!

So now I press down to the final few weeks of the long trip to my Masters of Fine Arts and already the poster announcing my successful completion has been created. This, despite that I have just completed another 5+ hours of abysmal failure in Coptic stitching my binding (Sara I need you).

Nevertheless, the words, the works, were completed some time ago and those sing from the pages even if they end up stapled to telephone poles in Fairbanks; even if they are slipped between silky underthings in lingerie stores; even if I bury them in the coffee beans in the bins at Baltimore Tea and Spice (be sure to check out the Jazzy Java). The poems are solid, true, and ready.

But the book, the publication arts portion of this degree, is much more challenging to one who was born without glue stick and scissor and t-square. I have learned and while it takes many renditions for me to complete the project (and I've precious little time now), I know that I will.

So please attend if you are able. Because the works you will find there will outshine my own and bring you to places you never thought of before and render the concept of a book such that the next airplane you spot overhead will seem to spout words!

For now here are some details: May 9th, 7 PM, U of B, 5th Floor Student Center, food and wine and amazing things you have never seen a book perform (illegal in some militant Barnes and Noble stores).
