Be Water

From here you can almost
see it all, the breadth
of blue water, turquoise to
jade, azure to navy to
midnight.

Dive into it, the water
slipping like silk
Fall into it, through it,
seeking the dark, the quiet,
the absence of sense.

The water in you and the
water without all one.
Be water. Be liquid -
flesh thin as
gauze, bone supple as
a blade of grass. The
water flowing in and out.

Be water. At the deep,
be still, dark, blind.

At the surface, break, sparkle,
blind with reflection.

I was a long time writing something about my daughter that I was willing to post on the internet. I am sure this was perplexing. But it is because she is such a jewel that to let the world know too much is to risk burglary.
